Sourcebook I reprinted in 2001. Hard cover. This book contains a collection of information on the emergence of the Standard Schnauzer in America including some brief history of the origins of the Standard Schnauzer Club of America as well as the Miniature Schnauzer Club of America. Includes some interesting historic details about people and dogs involved during the early years of importation and exhibiting in the USA. This is an SSCA item.
The Standard Schnauzer Source Books I and II have become collector items but the SSCA still has a Source Book III left in inventory. This book, published in 1983, has Schnauzer pictorials, breed history, SSCA club history, Schnauzers around the world, directory of breeders, lots of pictures of the dogs up to 1983 - your dog's ancestors, and a list of titlists from 1973-1983. A wonderful source for building pedigrees, seeing pictures of dogs in your pedigrees, and learning about how the Standard Schnauzer developed in Europe and America. This is an SSCA item.
Source Book IV is a historical update of the previous three Source Book volumes published in 1963, 1973, and1982 respectively. Any of the Source Books to date give an update in all facets of the breed for a particular decade. A standard schnauzer source book is of interest to anyone who fancies the breed and serves not only as a resource for breeders and exhibitors, but gives examples of standard schnauzers at home and i n a working capacity. All four volumes of the Standard Schnauzer Source Book keep an up-to-date profile as standard schnauzers span the globe.

The Pocket Guide is a quick reference to the official AKC breed standard. The handy Pocket Guide, done in full color, shows proper structure, gait, and faults through the use of actual photographs. Praise by many AKC judges, the Pocket Guide is a must for breeders, exhibitors, and AKC judges.
