Dear SSCA Members,
It is with great joy that I can share some news with you about our planned National Specialties for this year!
Last week brought disappointment as both of the show clusters for the 2020 and 2021 National Specialties were canceled.
Through the hard work and efforts of both the Standard Schnauzer Club of Northern California (SSCNC) and the
Potomac Valley Standard Schnauzer Club (PVSSC) alternative arrangements have been made and the SHOWS WILL GO ON!!

2021 National Specialty hosted by PVSSC

These changes in dates and venues have been approved by the SSCA Board of Governors.
PVSSC and SSCNC will be working on finalizing the plans and as more details are available, they will be shared.
Soon the Specialty Stores will be opened up again for both clubs as well as Trophy Donations.
Another email will be sent out with all of that information.
The SSCA Board wants to send a sincere thanks to the club members who have gone the extra mile to find
feasible alternatives so quickly. Fingers crossed that these are the last curve balls that will be sent their way!
Although these National events may not have all of the social events that we are used to due to restrictions that
will still be in place, it will get us back to a little bit of normalcy in showing our dogs.
Start making your plans to head East, West or East AND West!
Sincerely,
Kara Maytag
SSCA President
